MINUTES
KHS 2008 All Class Reunion
~General Meeting~

Called to order at 7:26 by President Pro-tem Bill McCollom. Officers present included Eva Hubbard, Angie Hall. 17 people in attendance.

Good of the Group:
This is our last meeting as the ACR committee. A big “THANK YOU” from all of us!

Eva Hubbard read the financial report. Motion made to accept the report as read. Motion seconded, none opposed, motion passed.

New Business:
The KHSAA is under way, the legal papers are being reviewed and are about to be authorized. We are excited about this new adventure. This will be a great opportunity to stay in touch and to be involved with the high school activities. It will also be a great avenue for future reunions. Please refer to the web site for future announcements about this new association.

The new KHSAA (Kennewick High School Alumni Association) will take the responsibility of memorabilia. In the future, class reunions will have access to this memorabilia; the Historical Society will store these items.

Please contact the KHSAA to donate or borrow these items. You can contact them via the web site www.kennewickhigh.org to obtain these items.

The very first KHSAA meeting will be held in the Kennewick High library on Dec.10th at 7:00pm. Please try to come, this is the ground floor!

A motion made to give the Lutheran Church a donation of $200.00 for letting us use their church for our meetings. Motion seconded, none opposed, motion passed.

Motion made to transfer all funds to the KHSAA except for a $10,000.00 stipulation to be held for any future ACR reunions. With in 3 years, an All Class Reunion needs to be in a planning stage, if there are no plans for a future reunion, the $10,000.00 will default to the KHSAA. Upon receipt of their 501 (3) (c) status, we are turning over approximately $25,000.00 to the KHSAA. They will have control of all monies, once they are legal. Motion seconded, none opposed, motion passed.

Motion made to dissolve the 2008 ACR and all it’s committees. Motion seconded, none opposed, motion passed.
