MINUTES
KHS 2008 All Class Reunion
~General Meeting~

Called to order at 7:12 by President Joe Byrne. Officers present included Bill McCollom, Eva Hubbard, Angie Hall and Lynn Gillespie.

Guest Speaker:
Bob Woehler spoke about the plaque that will be donated by “The Kennewick Man of the Year Association”. He passed around a photocopy of the plaque. They are going to place it at KHS. Thank you so much for the plaque! What a wonderful way to remember the “100 years” of Lions!

Good of the Group:
Many alumni have been out at social functions. Car shows, Fever game and other events. So if you see them…..WAVE! Keep your eyes out for the “Lion Truck”.

Charlene McCormick read the minutes of the last meeting. Approved, as read, with some minor changes.

Eva Hubbard read the financial report. Bills paid and the report was accepted as read.

Meeting Changes: We are going to meet every other Thursday of the month until the reunion is over. Next dates are May 29th, June 12th.

A discussion about the grant money for PR use was debated and it was motioned to withdraw the use of the $1,500.00 for now. It has been determined we have spent the amount required. Motion passed.

Motion made to allocate the rest of the budgeted funds into the PR account in the amount of $1087.00. Motion passed.

7,162 postcards were sent out! Thank you PR committee!! They look great. This was our last mailing.

Committee Reports:
Public Relations Report: Joyce Kenney has asked that you email her with any questions about PR. Her email is resw0dma@verizon.net

Entertainment Committee Report: For the fashion show, it has been asked if you have ANY type of clothes from your era…PLEASE call Kathi Kersey @ 586-6666.

Website Report:
*Veterans Page being updated with many alumni requesting to be added. Please contact the webmaster with any information about our Veterans.
*New ACR Events and Activities page under construction.

Volunteer help: Debbie Stevens is the coordinator. Her number is # 396-4608, # 586-2243. Please call her if you would like to volunteer or if you need volunteer help.

Old Business:
*T-shirts and sweat shirts are still available.
*BUY YOUR TICKETS NOW campaign is ongoing. Internet tickets are still available.
*Be sure to check the PICTURE schedule on the web-site, some changes have been made.
*You can have a packet of tickets assigned to you. Sell, Sell, Sell!!!! Eva Hubbard has this list.
*Please make sure the tickets are filled out legibly, they also need to have the maiden names on them. We have no way of finding people without their maiden names. Thank you!
*Pictures will be available AFTER the Reunion for sale on the web-site. A low resolution picture will be able to be seen on the web-site. www.kennewickhigh.org

New Business:
*Tickets will be in the mail in the next 14 days. After the 30th of May, expect them at will-call.
*Name tag plastic covers will be at the fair-grounds at the entrance booths.
*May 28th at 6:00 pm the buildings will open for us to plan decorating, this is the last time for us to see them before the reunion. Try to make it if you can.

Meeting adjourned at 9:12pm.

Next meeting is May 29th 7:00pm at the Lutheran church off highway 395.
