MINUTES
KHS 2008 All Class Reunion
-General Meeting-

Minutes read and approved with many corrections.

No good of the group.

No treasurer report.

Kathy and Joetta reported on food vendors and entertainment.

It was reported that we are close to a contract with the Fair Grounds. Working with Conover Insurance.

Kathy reported on memorabelia, some vendors from the grange, Dick Rambo plus our t-shirts and sweatshirts.

Josh Short, KHS graduate of 2005, would like to be our webmaster Also have someone who will help with the graphic arts.

Discussion about having a 50-50 split at various functions. Need more suggestions for PR and fund raisers.

Should wear our shirts at all times for publicity.

Dottie needs some more help to pass out posters to the businesses.

Bill and Joe decorated the boat for the boat parade and won FIRST place.

Dottie moved and Glenna seconded and it was passed that we buy a jacket from Joe to give to Art for the use of his boat. We will also give him and his wife tickets to the reunion plus a $50 gift certificate to Cedars.

Lynn will have 1,000 ticket applications printed. We need to sell at least 3,000 tickets to reach a $60,000 goal. Also need to have another mailing to help with this.

Also discussed having some of the downtown businesses help with ticket sales. Ann Stieger, owner of the Roxy, would like to help.

Discussion about First Night. Joetta moved and Kathy seconded that we should allow $100 for this if needed. passed.

Kathy introduced Joy Cooper and Mike Miller who are 1956 grads. They were in attendance tonight.

Meeting adjourned at 8:20.
