KHS 2008 All Class Reunion
– General Meeting –


August 16, 2007

Called to order at 7:05 by pres. Joe Byrne

Ruth Locati read Good of the Group. Bill McCollum read minutes of last meeting. Approved as read with some changes. Eva Hubbard gave the financial report.
$501.50 balance in back
Fair Booth and Booster ad are paid for
Columbia Industries and Post Office paid in full
Ticket sales are increasing

Winona Sleater reported on the banner for Bill’s pickup. Cost for banner and other items to decorate Bill’s truck is $162.73. Jerry Sleater moved, Dee Yeager seconded to reimburse Joyce Kenney for this – passed.

Anji Pickard reported we have $34.62 coming from Cafepress. There have been a total of 69 friends added to MySpace.

Dee Yeager reported on the website. 10 more Veterans have been added; 117 address corrections made; 20 new addresses included. Addresses of deceased are put in notes section so that mail won’t be sent to them again.

Whoever can, will be going to Bill McCollum’s to help decorate his truck for the Benton County Fair Parade.

Fair Booth - people asked to volunteer their time. Ruth Locati will handle scheduling.

Dottie Aman reported that she talked to Atomic Screen Printing. They will print T-shirts for us as long as we order 25 – 50 per order. Cost will be $7.10 per shirt. They will sell for $15.00 each. Sweatshirts will be sell for $19.95. All profits will go to the ACR after expenses. Dottie took orders for 11 shirts.

Dee Yeager made a motion that we have Retreads, Duct Tape, and Old Time County Fiddlers as part of our entertainment, all local groups. Seconded and passed.

A letter to Food Vendors will be sent out to see who is interested. There will be further discussion on this at next meeting.

Joe Byrne suggested a phone tree to contact and get update information on classmates.

Trip to fairgrounds is pending.

Class of 1958 and 1978 are planning their reunion in conjunction with the All Class Reunion.

Jerry Sleater made a motion that we move our two December meetings up by one week as they are too close to Christmas. Seconded by Winona Sleater – passed

Dave Garrett reported on getting Security for the All Class Reunion. He said the posse can also help with the parking. A proposal needs to be written to the fair board stating how we will handle security and how we can have adequate security without having the number of security guards the fairgrounds requires.
