KHS 2008 All Class Reunion
– General Meeting –
February 15, 2007
The meeting was called to order at 7:02 p.m. by Joe Byrne, President. There were a total of 22 members present and one guest. Officers present included Bill McCollom, Eva Hubbard, Ruth Locati and Dee Yeager.
Joe Byrne read For the Good of the Group. Dee Yeager read the Minutes for January – accepted without amendment.
Anji Pickard gave an update on the website. She explained the cleanup being done in the rosters and the new pages under development. A request for people to scan and send in jpgs of their diploma was made for the Diploma page. Dan Yeager explained how names of the graduates would be deleted before they were posted on the website.
Special guest, Nancy Re showed several articles of clothing with different KHS logos on them by Sunwest Sports Wear. She also stated they could put the ACR logo on items other than clothing. There will be another meeting with her to discuss the ACR needs.
Dee and Dan Yeager showed their concept of the ticket – badge and how it could work for the ACR; more discussion needed.
Dan Yeager made a motion that a committee meet with Cline Communications to discuss certain issues that have arisen; seconded by Jerry Sleater - passed. Dan Yeager made another motion to allow the committee meeting with Cline to make all decisions that need to be made regarding selling tickets and memorabilia online; seconded by Bill McCollom - passed.
Ruth Locati will get a committee together to draft a letter.
Bill McCollom made a motion to pick a temporary vendor to begin ordering T-shirts now; seconded by Joe Byrne - passed. Joe will meet again with Nancy Re.
Ruth Locati made a motion that once the shirts are available, all members attending a general meeting must wear their ACR shirt or pay a fine; seconded by Dee Yeager - passed.
Joe Byrne made a motion to charge $20.00 per day for camping at Benton County Fairgrounds; seconded by Dan Yeager - passed.
Joe Byrne will check with the fairgrounds for a list of food vendors and other information; Bill McCollom will contact Chamber of Commerce and other sources.
Marketing Committee formed; Joetta Ruppert Chairperson.
Linda Durfee made a motion there will be no charge for children 18 and under although they must be accompanied by an adult, and no charge for any KHS student; Dan Yeager seconded - passed.
Meeting adjourned at 9:02 P.M.
Next meeting will be at the Keewaydin Branch Library, March 1st at 7:00 P.M.
