MINUTES
KHS 2008 All Class Reunion
– General Meeting –

November 16, 2006

The meeting was called to order at 7:03 p.m. by Joe Byrne, President. There were a total of 16 members present. Officers present included Lynn Gillespie, Bill McCollom, Eva Hubbard, Dee Yeager and Ruth Locati.

Ruth Locati read For the Good of the Group. Dave Drollinger read the Minutes for October meeting; accepted without amendment. Eva Hubbard gave the Treasurer’s Report; accepted as read.

Joyce Kenney, chairperson for the Public Relations Committee, will be the sole contact between the 2008 KHS ACR and all media outlets.

For the Memorabilia Committee, Linda Durfee reported the business she had hoped to contact is no longer in operation. Lynn Gillespie reported our logo is too complicated to be done in stitching by Classic Monograms. Dave Drollinger reported on the cost of T-shirts through TLC is between $7.00 and $9.00.

Anji Pickard and Dee Yeager reported on the progress of the website. Dee Yeager requested pictures and information on the high school built in 1936.

Joe Byrne reported he talked to Debra regarding her receipts for reimbursement; she was still unable to produce them. Lynn Gillespie suggested this can not go on forever and to limit her time for reimbursement to end of year since she has had plenty of time to get them to the ACR Committee.

Joe Bryne reported cost of programming website for the sale of tickets and memorabilia by Cline Communications; approximate cost is $250.00 for tickets and $200.00 for memorabilia. Anji Pickard suggested cafepress.com as an option for selling memorabilia. Dave Drollinger will contact Cline Communications and cafepress.com to get further information.

Joe Byrne appointed Donna Fisher Parliamentarian Pro Tem. Appointment accepted.

There was discussion on how the 2008 ACR should be setup. The general consensus was to have decade buildings similar to the 2004 reunion but move the Beer Garden to another location so as not to interfere with other activities. Carnival area was suggested. Dee Yeager suggested the time for class group photos be announced well in advance of the reunion.

The next meeting will be December 14, 2006 at Westgate Elementary.
